The new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Limited Edition, called the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition honors one of the most famous Royal Enfield motorcycles used in the Second World War. The RE Pegasus Edition honors the RE / WD 125 two-stroke motorcycle, commonly known as the “Flying Flea”, used by British paratroopers during the Second World War and manufactured in the Royal Enfield underground facility in Westwood UK. The Pegasus RE is designed as a tribute to the military heritage of Flying Flea and Royal Enfield.
